The Vulture's Rage is the fourth issue of Adventures of Spider-Man.

Plot[]

One night Spider-Man secretly watches a teenager skateboard. However, seconds later an old man wearing mechanical wings swoops down and grabs the boy. The man then uses his suit to absorb the boy's youth and make himself younger. However, Spider-Man swings down and knocks the old man away from the teenager. As Spider-Man checks on the boy he is shocked to see that he is now an old man. As the man flies off his metal wings cut slice through a lamppost and it nearly falls on the old man that only moments ago was a teenager. However, Spider-Man is able to catch the lamppost. As the criminal is about to kill Spider-Man e says that his name is the Vulture. However, before Vulture can do anything the youth he absorbed starts to wear off and Vulture flies away. As Spider-Man looks at the teenager he sees that he is young once again.

The next day at OsCorp, Norman Osborn speaks to the board of directors of Toomes Aerodynamics. Norman informs the board that he has learned that their C.E.O., Adrian Toomes, has been wasting company money on anti-gravity and reverse aging technology. Norman then offers to buyout Toomes Aerodynamics and fold it into OsCorp so that the company and their jobs would be saved. One board member tries to defend Adrian Toomes. However, the other board members begin to list off all the times Adrian Toomes wasted company money on dead end projects. The board then agrees to Norman's buyout.

Meanwhile, at the Parker house, Peter Parker is sitting around the kitchen table with May and Mary Jane. As Peter reads the newspaper he sees a story on Norman Osborn taking over Toomes Aerodynamics. Peter and Mary Jane both agree that it isn't right for Norman to force Toomes out of his own company just because he's old. However, May tells Peter and Mary Jane that just because he's old that doesn't mean that he should grow bitter about what happened to him and that he should make the best out of his golden years.

Later that night at Toomes Aerodynamics, Adrian Toomes swears he will get revenge on Norman Osborn. Toomes then puts on his flight harness and flies off into the night.

Later at OsCorp, Spider-Man plans to meet with Norman and tell him to back off of Toomes Aerodynamics or else he will go to the police with the evidence he has in Norman's involvement with Kingpin and Hobgoblin. However, Vulture attacks Spider-Man and uses his metal wing to slice Spider-Man's mask open. As Spider-Man hits the ground he is buried beneath rubble. Vulture then absorbed Spider-Man's youth making himself younger. Spider-Man rapidly aged into an old man. However, despite Spider-Man's old age he is able to lift the rubble off of him and defeat Vulture. Vulture is later arrested by the police.

As Peter returns home he sees that May and Mary Jane are partying with some of May's friends. May then tells Peter not to underestimate the elderly.
