The Daily Bugle is a tabloid newspaper located in New York City.

History[]

The Daily Bugle is run by J. Jonah Jameson who is the Editor-in-chief. Joseph Robertson is the city editor, and Peter Parker is a freelance photographer. The Bugle is well known for its anti-superhero slant. Spider-Man is the hero most affected by this. Robertson often acts as the voice of reason for the hot headed Jameson. Peter Parker will often take photos of himself as Spider-Man and sell them to the Bugle.

Chameleon was once hired by terrorist to assassinate two world leaders who were about to sign a peace treaty after centuries of war. The night before the signing J. Jonah Jameson held a party for the two leaders and other vIPs at the Daily Bugle. Chameleon attempted to kill the two world leaders by disguising himself as Nick Fury but he was stopped by Spider-Man.

When Michael Morbius decided to use the Neogenic Recombinator to turn everyone in New York City into vampires he went to the Daily Bugle to find Peter and get a sample of his Neogenic blood. Upon discovering that Peter was not there Morbius threatened J. Jonah Jameson to tell him where Peter was. However, Jameson told Morbius that at the moment he didn't know where Peter was and Morbius flew out the window.

In an alternate reality the Daily Bugle was destroyed by Hobgoblin when he threw a bomb at Spider-Man. Spider-Man escaped the explosion. However, the explosion brought down the Bugle.
